Perhaps after a couple of season's you'd care to explain the Belgian promotion/relegation system to us.

Good luck.

I do wish that some people would get the grammar on their posts right first time. No wonder there are so many Brodys around

Clearly the child is having an effect on Michal's grammar. Before the birth he would've nailed that sentence first try.

2nd divROMOTION: The champion gets promoted
the league is divided in three parts of 11(12) games each. The winners of those parts get a playoff position. At the end of the season, the tickets for playoff that are still available are given to the best placed teams without a ticket. The playoffs are a mini-league with 4 teams.
RELEGATION: The two last teams relegate, the 16th team gets into the relegation playoffs together with the promotion candidates from div3. These playoffs are elimination-stage, only the winner gets to start in div2.

3rd division: The champions of the A&B -league get promoted automaticly. They have to play a game to decide who is the div3 champion. These divisions are also divided in parts of 10 games, and the winners get a ticket.

I hope the system is now a bit more understandable for you guys. I hear that in Mexico, it's even worse. I heard it's possible to relegate and compete for the title in the same season...
