I spent my first year in C2C Italy. The club I managed was poor at best, but I kept them afloat and avoided the religation playoffs by two points. To achive this I went way way over budget, the club becoming "insecure" but I hoped to bring it in line over the next couple of seasons.
The new season arrived and I got offered a job at a C1 club. Being the island hopping LLaMa that I am, I jumped ship. As you do, I occassionally looked back at my old club to see how they are going. I noticed that the club finances had become OK, which puzzled me a bit as I thought there were few cash injections in CM0304. I didn't think much of it again, but then a couple of months down the track I was looking at my new clubs finances, and noticed that we had paid 158K in transfer fees this season. I had a hard time trying to find out who this player was that had cost us so much money.
In the end I discovered it was me. Yup, my new club had given my old club 150k as a transfer fee for my managerial services. Thats a new one on me.
This might make switching teams a bit more difficult when you ended up at a top team with a huge wage and you want to take the plunge again into the lowest league. Nothing that a nice series of ultimatums can't solve, though.
