I'm going to go LLM when I get FM, I have never bought a full version of CM before (just demos) and I would like to know a good league for newbie LLMing.
I don't really care that much about star players or teams, though I would like a league whose teams have decent chances at continental competition (assuming I get that far) and preferably not too restrictive concerning player nationality. And the more divisions the better.
I've heard that england is not fun after a few years because the TV money is too huge. Is this true? And if so any good alternative leagues?
I guess germany will do. Really thinking about Portugal after Porto's performances last season- is there anyway to know how many divisions are availlable for the leagues?
I'm playing in England at the moment. Which is why I agree with the comment I am now 10 seasons in and got 12 million pounds TV money in EPL last season so it doesnt feel very LLM anymore. I think I will start a new game elsewhere soon.
In the book you will get with the game they list all leagues and divisions. In 03/04 there are over 40 leagues and almost 100 divisions. Apparently FM 2005 will provide some more leagues but even lower divisions, LLM heaven.
Some of the guys are playing a clan game in Portugal at the moment they seem to be having fun.
Don't listen to those poofs, Excelsior. Poofland is an ideal League to start LLM in, there's 4 promotions to aim for, and come FM2005 there should be 5 \o/
If you want maximum impecuniousness for the duration of your game and 3 promotions to aim for then it's got to be Jockland. 40 of the 42 Clubs are as "pare as a kirk moose", and there's only one promotion spot into the top Division.

121. Takes forever when you have all of them loaded, even with a high-end pc.
