Yes Andy, I run 'em all
It was much better in 01/02, but hey, at least it's realistic |

That's great!
Now i don't feel that stupid with a season that lasts for good two weeks
To the topic: i also think England is the best. My second choice - Scotland. Italy was rejected after half a season.
Anyway, you'll have plenty of time till FM gets released, so you're obviously in no hurry |

England and Scotland are great places to start. I figure getting off the beaten path is quite enjoyable though. I am just into my 3rd LLM game now. My first was in England exclusively. 2nd one had leagues set up all over Europe, started out in Czech 2nd division and wandered through Slovakia and Austria before receiving an offer from Southampton. Now I have just started a game with leagues on three continents and I am lodged in the Brazilian third division where it appears that only 2 of the 128 3rd division teams get promoted each year. While all three were enjoyable, I think my central europe experience was the best so far, as promotion is readily attainable (certainly better than 2 out of 128), and since the top divisions are only 10 teams strong, you are never too far away from the hope of European competition. Follow Frank, he chose my destinations in these last two games and I must say, he has never been wrong for me!

I don't know about jockland.
Doesn't it get boring playing the same teams four times a season?

It makes for a great clan game, jockland, with playing human managers that often.
Then they all flee to Poofland and play midweek games. |

The four times in a season thing...in real life it's crap in a footballing sense. It's boring and the teams get to know each other too well...but...the Auld Firm visiting two times a season gives a much-needed cash boost to smaller Clubs.
I'm a firm believer in two Leagues, of 22 and 20.

You've got a fantastic turn of phrase to be fair, Jockmod. It makes me want to go and ask Frank to find me a club as "pare as a kirk moose". I'm not quite sure what it directly translates to, but I doubt its too much of a term of endearment. |

Fantastic, I'll use that one if I may.
For the record, Frank has sent me to a football outpost that is called East Fife (presumably they play their home matches in the eastern part of Fife).
It will be my first foray into the world of Scottish LLM for a good many years - is it going to be as tough a challenge as it sounds?
