Thanks for the memories MkII..

Just play, i read in a thread in GQ that it was compatible with save games. )

I saw a cracking game last night! Second round of the top 6 finals series in the NSL.

[Adelaide City 3 Newcastle 2!

Newcastle led 1-0, then an own goal brought the mighty Force level. Then this Kiwi striker scored a brilliant goal to put City up 2-1.. then managed to miss from dead in front, 6 yards out! Newcastle made it 2-2 just 2 minutes later. Then we had 2 more chances but missed both and it looked like it was going to be a bad draw.. the guy who missed the sitter scored in the last minute! What a game!

That was to try to catch up with LLLL really, because it had seven mods.

I just hate Turkey after som abysmal loss in some obscure cup (Arsenal - Galatasaray, 2000). And, the fact that my x-gf was in turkey at that moment and actually cheered for those....uhmm....yeah....

Just rub it in you big poof

Morten Olsen stated that they could have played on for another 5 hours without scoring, and he was right

Can anyone tell me what the difference between flaming and trolling is?

Idle curiously and NOT a request for personal examples.

Happy birthday Muss

We'll organise a snog with Frank for you later...

My favourite is RuneQuest. In the last few years, they butchered the system and made Hero Wars which is a complete travesty of a system.

The background, world maps and culture is incredibly impressive, however.

Mmmmmm Bridesmaids!!!!

Have a good weekend them! Mine is going to consist of essays and not enjoying to footy tomorrow afternoon.

Hopefully Juve can do the biz in the other Semi, although quite how the Italians managed to get to this stage is beyong me... so many more deserving teams... (ie Italians got lucky with the draws imo)

TGoG
Anyone know anything about Affordability of social housing in Spain? no? Bloody hell who set this stupid assignment anyway!

I hate this time of the year

Oh yeah good luck to anyone taking exams this year.

TGoG
To be honest i think i'm in love with them both! Especially the ginger one. hmmm councilling for me then!

This is all somewhat more friendly than when I made the scandalous assertion on a another thread that Scotland are (were) a team of high international standing.

I'm with you on this Rek. Though the term "soccer" may make me cringe it is perfectly acceptable, and we know exactly what's being referred to. Now if we were to start talking about peldroed

It happened during working hours which wasn't much to talk about - but about 12 of us barbecued after work and didn't leave til 8am this morning

Nicely done Merk. Seems like a quality celebration--only thing missing is blowing things up

Who is your American client if you can say? I go the other way round--i.e. I work for a firm with a British client. Hoping to be over in London in October but not certain yet.

Takes me back to the days that Inverness Caledonian and Inverness Thistle merged to gain admission to the SL. Purely done for the financial reward (in Scottish football? ) and no regard paid to the fans at all.

Robbo#
If they stick to it, then maybe. But how many 'glory supporters' actually do? We all remember the kid at school who supported Liverpool, then Man United/Arsenal/Blackburn/whoever.

There are exceptions, obviously. One of my best mates is a Liverpool fan, with no connections other than that they were winning everything when he started watching. Still supports them as much now.

The other thing that annoys me possibly more is people who say 'Support your local team', and they don't even go...yet because they're a fan of their local team they're somehow a more loyal supporter. I live in Surrey/south-west London, and you can imagine the hordes of Gooners now appearing. It's quicker to get to Southampton from here.

Ah Aldershot vs Accrington on Sky should be good

Rek
Yeah, they're always wánking over Ter's skin in there.

Another great result yesterday for my local team (Wellington Rec).

Cup match at home (following our 9-0 win in league mid-week). Drew Dunmurry (a division higher) in cup and we weren't expecting too much from it.

Result 1-1, then we won after penalties to progress to next round.

The match was incident-full as usual, with great shots, goals, saves and our GK sent off for running half way down the pitch to punch an opposing player.

All good stuff for us spectators

TGoG
Got fed up with it saying amature

Rek
Someone that posts in OTF.

Here's the link.

Are you pulling these quotes randomly? There are some rather plain ones.
