I guess this could go in another forum but I wouldn't want to go in there and it's of more relevence to me what you guys do.

My laptop isn't so great so I can't load up a lot of leagues. I'm thinking 20 is my max on a large database with 6 or 7 being pretty quick and 15 being okay.

If I were to run a small or medium database yet load significantly more leagues, something close to thirty or forty, would this run very slowly or would it be faster? Secondly would it adversely affect gameplay with less players in the database or would the fact that I'd loaded up so many leagues (and by extension players) compensate for this?

The general rule is:

1) Biggest database you can
2) as many leagues as you can/want

in that order.

so what's your point? You rather not pay attention to women?

While Michal's point is valid, I would suggest you try and cluster leagues - only go into a couple of contients for example.

Also, Brazil and England are huge (in terms of number of teams and leagues) - worth several countries each, so this could affect your decision.
