It took me 12 seasons to find a reliably good penalty taker in FM07. He was **** at everything else, mind you, so I sold him for £15m. (Hey, some teams have more money than sense.)

Unfortunately, this isn't as obvious as it seems. I just finished a season where I set a player with a very high penalty taking attribute (a rarity at this level) as my penalty taker. The results were brilliant: two penalties converted out of seven (four of which didn't even were on target).
