Question on how the Buy back price works. Is there a time limit? I figured on selling a couple of promising youngsters back to clubs in their countries (Argentina, Brazil), because they're not getting the game time they need.

I agreed buy back prices (same as the selling prices) with Boca and Gremio and am wondering if there is a limit on how long the clause remains active.

I'm hoping the players will continue to improve while I have the transfer money back in my kitty.

I don't think there is a time limit tbh but if they are sold onto another club im not sure if the clause moves with it. I would keep track of the youngsters and if they are looking to move put in a bid for them. Stick in a deadline and they have to accept. I think thats right

If the players moves clubs the buy back clause is in-valid and you can't buy the player back. I found this out first hand :thdn:

Of course the buy-back clause only applies to the club you initially sell him to.

keep him in your shortlist indefinately then you will see a news flash if someone is trying to buy him.

I'm keeping tabs on them on my shortlist. In the meantime, I've got about 11 million euro extra in my transfer kitty, which I wouldn't have if I loaned out the players.

If this works out, I might prefer doing that rather than loaning players out. Probably only works for top clubs with high reputation, but we'll see.
