I just wondered if anybody else was having difficulties with the realism level of the youth team wages. I'm managing Fuerteventura in Spanish League B1, and my wage budget is £1K p/w. However, my youth squad takes up £990 per week of this, meaning the board restrict my wage offer to the senior team.
The basic youth contract across all clubs, no matter their size, is £55 p/w PLUS a £55 appearance bonus. And if I decide to let them all go, the club must pay out > £80,000 (club value is £220K and balance is £30K by the way) in compensation. TO 16 YEAR OLDS WITH NO POTENTIAL!
I'm finding this very frustrating as I've got a sensible wage structure for my first team, but I can't implement it with the ridiculously overpaid youth team (ie Key Players £100 p/ with £10 appearance bonus, First Team £75 p/w with £15 appearance, Rotation £50 p/w with £20 appearance bonus, Backup £25 p/w with £25 appearance bonus). This really needs to get sorted out as it is ruining the LLM games for me and no doubt others. If you are experiencing similar issues please reply to this thread and maybe we can get SI to fix the problem in 8.02!
Something I've noticed at conf n/s level teams is that greys want more to sign up than a lot of proper pros.
After signing up free agents, Bosmans and purchases at nil value mainly for £2.6K a year, I have a look at my best grey and he wants £5K!! They appear to be set at this salary demand (even U18 greys) despite "proper" transfers in and your own youth players asking for less.
