I've just taken a job at srtuggling Recreativo in the second tier of the Spanish league, they are struggling in 20th so I look forward to the challenge of getting them back into La Liga. I've never managed in Spain on this game, mainly due to the known registration bug. However, I've read there is a work around that makes it playable. I don't really use the B team or under 18's in my first team so that doesn't affect me, so what exactly is the bug and can it be rectified?
I find that not registering your players when you buy them is a good idea and the only time you should try registering players is through the "<team> has been asked to submit their roster." news item.
Never try to do it from anywhere else and it usually works fine.
the bug is when you're asked to submit your squad and press continue on 31/08, all players become unregistered again. unless you check the squad list before 31st of august is over, you will not have any available players. simply re-submit a complete set of numbers for each team (it's a good idea to do the reserves and under-18s aswell, due to the fact that you only have 25 numbers for the first team).
Have a look in the bugs forum guys, there are numerous threads on this an a few work around suggested. It's a bit of try it and see. Some work for some people for others they don't, so it's best to experiment.
