I was just wondering when a player is 'Considering Citizenship, how long would it usually take for them to decide whether or not they are gonna take citizenship or is it entirely random. Thanks pple

I think there are numerous factors regarding this, along the lines of;

1) Does the player need a wp to play for his team.

2) Is the player already an EU passport holder.

3) Is the player already an international for his country of birth.

4) Is the player already involved in U21 for country of birth.

5) What is the rep of the national team of A. Country of Birth, and B. Country where citizenship may be gained.


I think it's things along those lines that control how long a player may take deciding citizneship.

No he dont need a work permit to play. He has never played for his national team or U21 so I want to pick him for my England team cus hes a very good player but hasnt been picked by his country EVER. He also doesnt have the 'Declared for' either so there is a possibility that i can pick him.
