Default how many leagues can I run?

Sorry if there is a topic for this somewhere, I looked but couldn't find. I don't know if I'm giving you all the information or not, but here are my computer specs, taken from the general preferences on my computer. Windows XP version 2002, Intel (R), CPU is Celeron (R) CPU, 2.93 GHz, with 448 MB of RAM. Right now I'm currently running 9 nations, probably about 14 or 16 leagues, and to me it feels like things are moving slow. I know for a fact that I need to clean up my computer, which I will do tomorrow. Given all that, what is an adequate number of nations and leagues I should be able to run with a minimum of a medium database size, at a fairly good speed?

I have 512MB RAM and pretty old laptop. I run easily about 20 leagues with large database. I don't know if the game progresses slow or fast (not too fast or slow at least) but i am enjoying.

If you think 15 leagues is too much then try 10 and see if it makes the difference.

i think if you got some more RAM you'd see a dramatic increase in speed cause your current RAM is probably 'minimum requirements'

Yeah, get your RAM upto at least 1GB, probably 2GB with it being so cheap. You should see a good increase in speed. Not much wrong with your processor.
