I recently downloaded the patch for WSM08, and I continued my saved game. But the problem of fixture rescheduling because of international callups, which at the end of my 2008 season at Real Salt Lake led to five fixtures in nine games, was, if anything, even worse at the end of the 2009 season, with 11 fixtures in 14 days, including five in a row.

Am I correct in assuming that the "fix" of the rescheduling problem will only be effective when I start a new game under 8.0.1?

i think most of the fixes in the patch work straight away others you have to wait till the end of the season u r on seems like it didnt work for u so might have to start a new game

I saw no improvement in the second season, which I began after intalling the patch, so it looks like I'm just going to have to start a new game.

Anyone else have experience with this?
