i can't wait untill the update could you tell me if you will still be doing updates on fm 2006 when fm 2007 is out.thanks as i't would be appreciated by many people if fm 2007 isn't that good and they want to stay with fm 2006

Here you are - version 5.1 is now avaliable. No annoying bugs left, so don't be afraid. Here's a list of major changes:

World Leagues:

- updated all transfers until 17.07.2006 in leagues all around the world: Germany, England, Scotland, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Czech Republic, Russia, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey and much more;
- updated all manager changes until 17.07.2006 e.g. Clemente;
- added new, talented players;
- deleted another doubles and dead persons;
- deleted thousands of out-of-date loans;
- updated many contract lengths;
- updated names, potentials and positions;
- updated promotions/relegations in all the leagues;
- updated team boards of some clubs;
- updated teams of European Cup for 2006/2007 season;
- included all the changes in Italian leagues e.g. relegation of Juventus to Serie B;
- fixed the bug with "array access out of bounds" appearing when the Spanish League was loaded;
- fixed mistakes from past versions 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0

Polish League:

- added newest transfers in polish leagues for the day 17.07.2006 e.g. Kmiecik;
- updated all manager changes in polish leagues until 07.07.2006;
- added new people: players, managers and members of boards in polish leagues;
- added ends of careers for many players;
- updated "like - do not like" option;
- added new polish media;
- fixed statistics of many players to make the game more realistic (positions, potentials, reputations etc.);
- fixed mistakes from past versions 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0

We didn't actually find out what caused the array out of bounds problem. We've found an older version of the base and had to make many changes once again :>

only one problem i found out ummm says Holders - Liverpool for champions league where as Barca won it or did you guys just did not update that?

From limited rading i've done two things are probably causing the game to crash. Malaga's relegation causes them to be playing in the same league as their b team which causes the game to crash.

The other thing is possibly the Champions League teams. Probably down to England having 5 teams competing rather than 4 (with Liverpool winning it & finishing 5th).

I know when i tried to update a game myself i had this error. Probably down to one less team in the CL when only 4 teams are selected in england (or possibly its in the game code allowing 5 entrants for one season only).
