Anyway, for WC 2006 and since I started the game, Japan don't call anyone up and just have grey players. I've created a team of my own and given me and everyone different nationalities, one is Japanese and it's irritating me that he can't get a cap
Players like Nakata and Inamoto are available but don't get called up, so it's not an issue of the players not being loaded to select.
I seem to remember this problem with the German squad on an old FM IIRC, how can it be fixed?
It's not a problem. License issues - same reason why French club names are incorrect, german squad is fake & why german club names will also be fake for the fm07.
Soh- as was explained before this is a licesing and legal issue which cannot be expanded on in the official SI Forum. If you search in any of the unofficial FM sites you will find what you are looking for.
