this is the lad chelsea wanted to poach off of us but he turned them down, unlike Taiwo and Woods. ROSE IS CLASS. next Lennon, check the FA site linked above for an impartial view. he is a sensation. not as much Flair as lennon, but better shooting and much more all round/creative

Missed transfers:

Marcelinho (Hertha) to Trabzonspor.

Marcelo Carrusca to Galatasaray. Needs a "Dwells on the Ball" PPM. Great dribbler but can't do much else, huge potential to improve but his confidence doesn't look like it'll ever increase.

Luke Wilkshire to Twente.

Carlos Bueno to Sporting CP, his ban has also expired.

Bruce Arena is the new manager of Red Bull NY, and he's not USA manager.

Rudi Skacel too Southampton.

Fisher Athletic update:

two promotions in a row, professional in the Conference South and with money to burn thanks to Ultra ambitious chairman/owner Sami Muduroglu and his brother Eren.

They are now CONFERENCE SOUTH and fully Professional. They play at Champion Hill home of Dulwich Hamlet (who Sami also owns!), not the Surrey Docks Stadium (proposed redeveloped)

Justin Edinburgh (ex Spurs) is now manager and guided them to the London Senior cup AND Ryman League Cup, while also beating AFC Wimbledon in the play-offs and securing promotion in the final vs Hampton and Richmond

Expect Sami to bankroll them to the conference national this season - already brought in some very good young prospects (Joel Kitamarike ex-chelsea, Steve Clarke Weymouth's player of season last year in this league and Braintree's influential captain Paul Lorraine)

Very exciting times down in South London.

Braintree have jumped two divisions in one year up to the conference proper! (not conference south as should be)
