I play a flat 442 now. Also i get this report even playing at home. So do I have to play defensive mentalities at home. I've played deep at home and it helps against attacks but does anyone notice a gap between def line and midfield.
No, your scout is rubbish, never play defensive at home until you come under pressure.
And no defensive midfield mentalitie doesnt mean you have to play a defensive midfielder, it means this player will try to get the ball and run a little up front.

Maybe its his tactical know how.He's PA and CA scouting are 19 and 20. I think its says defend deep purely because they have pacy fowards home and away.
logically there would be a gap between def line and midfield but i haven't been a ble to prove it. can Rashidi or anyone clarify if the AI does exploit this space.
