I am Playing Arsenal at the moment and it's going quite well. But my strikers are having trouble scoring. The make a very funny run when one on one with the goalkeeper... :thdn: If the get a perfect through ball from the midfield right down the center of the field, the striker takes the ball and almost every time, they run to the side and narrow the angle, making it difficult to score against the goalkeeper.. My strikers are Henry and Baptista so shouldn't be a problem there..??
Are there anyone who has a solution or have the same problem???
Don't loiok at the number of shots on goal, but look at the quality of goals. To do that you need to be watching game highights, if your ratio of Total Shots/SOT is too high then thats bad.
You also need to look at the SOT/Goals ratio as well.
For me I look at somewhere around 80% conversion rate. So if had 5 shots in total I expect to score at least 3 goals.
Personally I look at variety of chances. I have 5 routes to goal.
1. Targetman
2. Central midfield thrust from the attackng midfielder
3. Speedy left striker who cuts in to blast
4. Deep crosses from my fullbacks and wingers
5. Set pieces.
There is enough variety to bang in the goals, I tend to play with a CF of around 15 for my strike force
