I'm using Juventus right now, and have managed (till 2012 :-)) to get these players : Torres, Rooney, Tevez, Ribery, C. Ronaldo, Alvez, Heinze, Marquez+Felipe (Barca), Bouhlarouz, Nigel de Jong, Riise, Sergio Ramos, etc.
I'm sure most of you will agree that they're all quality players. But somehow I can't find the right way to get the most of them (always ended up in 2nd or 3rd position, never won the CL, only seldom could beat Inter, Milan, Roma and other top clubs).
Can anyone give suggestions how to set up this team (especially for the strikers, bcs they couldn't create as much goals as in their prev. team, and the defenders, who were always beaten to slightly fast striker with average skill)?
One thing I noticed in my last game, is that as soon as I deactivate Playmaker options, the strikers had more chances. Is using AMC(in my case: Tevez) as Playmaker a bad option?
It is quite often the case, that my strikers had only very view chance to shoot..most of the time they can't get the ball passed to them :-(, many of the passing are intercepted quite often although I use slow tempo, short pass, narrow width.
Some people think the game is all about tactics and other who think it is about players. I think it is about both. You should use the players the right way and you should checkwho is he up against. If have a great FC like Cesar delgado, and he is up against a good pacy defender, he can't easly be stopped so you should switch his postion to face a slower defender. Another example, Gerrard, he is the best in the game, but he can easly be marked out if he is up against a good marker. So move him to the other MC, and so forth.

Yes...but I think this won't be a problem if they've played together for a few season.
And..Heinze, C. Ronaldo, Rooney..I can call this team: Manchester - Juve - United ;-).
There's also this tip: new players will need time to adapt to the new team..so I assume after 1 season they all (should) play to their best.
Anyway, thanks for the replies...any more ideas?
What about my question to the playmaker option? Once I used this for HSV(Hamburg) with Van der Vaart as playmaker, and he did this superbly well, was top scorer for 2 seasons. But now it seems that playmaker option makes the strikers less effective..
Thanks
