Need your help chaps.

I normally get my Ass Manager to do my team talks, however I have just taken over the Italian Under 19's and now need to do them myself.

Any top tips that will help with a winning outcome.

It really depends on the situation. If your at home against opposition that you are really expecting to beat then tell the players you expect a win.

However if your away I wouldnt be as demanding. Try boosting confidence by saying do it for the fans or something like that.

You will get used to them yourself after a while though

Also, sympathise with them if they're losing at half-time/lose by the odd-goal/last minute winner or equiliser etc.

Even though you may be ****ed off...if they've been unlucky then they'll apreciate you saying so.

There is a guide line that I follow. I always look at the last line of the prematch teamtalk. If it says Relax and the game will take care of itself, go for I expect you to win. If it says enjoy the runout, go for expect or for the supporters. If it says the pressure is off, go for wish luck. If it says nothing to lose, gor we can win this.
