Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Passing style and tempo of a championship side?

I've started a game with Birmingham and currently lie in a poorly 11th after 18 games, after alot of tweeking to find the perfect tactic i think i'm finnally getting there!

Im playing a 4-4-2 ans so far been playing a short passing slow tempo'd game, i've had a couple of heavy defeats but mostly narrow wins and loses and a few narrow draws, i seem to be dominating the games but not doing much with the ball!!!

I am Derby and was comming 3rd now 7th with 10 games to play, I used a 4-5-1 slightly wide and fast tempo direct style of play and tbh defensivley it wasn't good but I could pound on the goals.

Right now I might revert to a 3-5-2 for the remainder or 4-4-2 :/

I've Also found with my Leeds team that using some short passing and slow tempo works quite well in the build up play and you play some nice football

but when u get in the final third of tha pitch you just loose the ball

Maybe it is something to do wit the forwards intructions or maybe the players aint good enough for it
