£8 million is a great price as well. I'm in 2nd season and have had to pay £22 million for him! (If I get him that is - doesn't look good if he went to AC on your save because they've bid for him on mine as well).

i'm valancia. i thought 8mil was cheap but that is wot barca bid so i did the same. he went to AC for 6.75mil but that was on co-owernship of the player so he's still at udinesse. might try bid for him again when i have alot more money as he looks like the best cb in the game.

If another big club offers £8mil for him, you need to offer more. Something like £12-15mil (to be honest, Ive never managed to get him for less than £24mil). This way, you can price them out of the race.

The offers have been accepted though (AC's and Real's offers were pretty similar to mine tbh) so it's now just a case of who he would rather play for.

surely you could get him for less than 24mil but is that a good price for him cos for a player vauled around 4-6mil surely payin 24mil is a bit much.

My starting bid was around £15 million and they kept on rejecting until it got that high. ALthough his value is only 5 or 6 million, it's rare that you'll be able to pay a player for that amount, especially if they are very important to the club.

As an example, on my game, think Micah Richards is valued at around 7.5 million atm but City wanted £40 million for him!

Suppose it comes down to how good the player is and how many years you're gonna get out of them.
