last season i signed marcelo but unfortunately i rushed the deal through so close to the transfer deadline that i didnt have time to get a work permit, fine i thought ill send him out on loan and get one next season (just like Alex for Chelsea)
problem is its a year later and i cant find anyway to apply for a work permit, can someone help me please????

i already tried that and nothing came of it, i think im gonna have to just sell him

You either have to send him out on loan again to gain dual nationality(length of time depends on what country) or wait until his reputation is high enough where he might be granted one when you offer him a new contract.

There is no way to "apply" for a wp otherwise.

I don't think it could of been a case of "not having time", just simply that he didn't get one. Either be patient and keep loaning him to your wp feeder club until he gains EU nationality or sell him.

Needs to be loaned out for three year or have a contract as a Key Player might work.

every time i get the work permits refused, even when i offer them key player and when there internationals, is this because im not in the premiership??
