I have both for my Deportivo side, and would go with Veloso, Banega is more of a Pirlo deep lying playmaker than a proper DM.

Definately Veloso as a DM, unless you're playing very weak teams in which banega would be good.

I've never had any success with a DM if he hasn't had 17+ tackling. They stop the opposition from attacking and launch my own attacks.

Is veloso any good at mc? I have gago but he seems to forget how to get a good result when he plays as a mc

Banega's amazing man! Way better tha Veloso. I've had both for Arsenal and sold Veloso cos he couldn't get past Banega.
