Hello, my Arsenal team is first in the league at the moment and ive kept most of my players but sold alexandre song and almunia. My signings were hunterlaar who has scored loads this season and marcelo... How can i improve the team, i play van persie on the left wing and adebayor and hunterlaar upfront and my assistant says the weak link in the team is van persie on the left... How could i improve the team over the summer whne i get more money?
On a different Arsenal note, I'm playing them in my Wolves game atm and they have selected Kolo Toure at MR. Eh? They've got Hleb and RVP fit, but Hleb doesn't even make the bench. Weird.
personally, i would sell fabregas. He can never fit in my team. Got 53 million + 30%. Then went and bought matias fernandez, makoun who are much better imo. Also bought alot of other players...
mmmm talking abotu fabregas, i cant get him to play properly. He has amazing stats and i usually play my team as a fast, direct, attacking, clsoing down team. And i give fabregas more creative freedom but he never seems to hit those 8s and 9s. Its always 7s and the odd 8 meaning my tactic isnt right for him. How should i use him. my tactic is 4-2-2-2, 4 defence, 2 centre mid, 2 attacking wingers, 2 strikers.
I agree about Fabregas. In my Arsenal game, no matter what variations I try, he has never been very consistent, and I'm seriously thinking about selling him.
id put marcelo on the left and van persie up front. arsenals side is very good from the start and the youngsters turn out world class. i would say invest mainly in a keeper and a long term replacement for gallas
i feel arsenal in FM08, weak areas are on the wings and ST, but as you say huntelaer is banging the goals in so your alright there. when i was arsenal RVP did well as left winger although hes a better ST, but hleb was rubbish for me and i got quaresma in and he was awesome. so i'd definately go for a right winger, and whenever im a big team i always bring in matias fernandez. him and rosicky as AMCs behind huntelear, fabregas Mc, RVP left wing and Quaresma right wing sounds pretty good to me
