I need a solid DM for cardiff, about 500k to spend, any suggestions?

You might be able to pick up Harvard Nordtveit for that much from Arsenal. Might have to add a few clauses though. He's a good player and is versatile too.

He's a natural at CB but can just as easily play DM. I play as Arsenal most of the time and have played him at DM plenty of times. Does fine there. Good tackler, reasonable pace, good passing, good marking.

Else you can try to get Claude Makelele from Chelsea. He never does get games there and is usually unhappy. He should be available for peanuts and has very good stats although his physical stats would have obviously gone down a lot. He would be great for a year or so for you and then you can go out and get a good DM when you have a little more cash I suppose. Whether he'll want to come to you is another matter though.

Another option is to get someone like Alexandre Song or Mathieu Flamini on loan for the season.

should try for dan gosling prob get him for 1.8 mil! he can also play right back and wing but he is strongest at DM
