For anyone wishing to experience Scottish cuisine, just take a normal everyday food item and deep-fry it

Banks in Scotland (Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Scotland and at least one other I think) issue their own banknotes. And very pretty they are too. It's essentially the same currency though.

At a pub/restaurant last night.
Aussie woman:
"This broccoli, how is it done?"
Waiter (in somewhat broken English):
"Is covered in egg and fried."
Aussie woman:
"Deep-fried broccoli?"

After the Bosman ruling all players out of contract with their clubs can move to any club of their chice withouth the recieving club paying a fee to the club where the player was contrated to until his contract expired. Denmark is part of EU so they should not prevent a player leaving once his contract has expired.

It is a separate country to England in more ways than you could possibly imagine. It's relationship with England is akin to Britain's with the EU.

I don't think they have their own banknotes any more. They used them all up when they spent £431m on their new parliament building (estimated maximum cost £50m) |

No, the Scottish MPs in Westminster will just vote through more of the English taxpayers money to Scotland to make up any deficit.
