I thoroughly enjoyed my own time in Croatia with Vukovar. Rotten attendances, no money and binary stats for the players. I played with nothing but default tactics for the first half of the season before playing with someone else's super tactics for a giggle. The team plummeted down the table with the "super tactics" which made me laugh long and loud.

BTW, using those tactics were for experimental purposes only. I detoxified my pc when the season finished.

Sounds like you have a nice squad building up there. KUTGW!

wearra - it was definitely like that for my first season (the binary stats, not the use of 'super tactics' [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif" alt="wink[/IMG]), the team was awful, 4 or 5 1st teamers were averaging <6 [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif" alt="eek[/IMG] [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="frown[/IMG], sorted it out for this season though [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif" alt="cool[/IMG].

There are only 4 foreigners allowed per match day squad in Croatia (well, in 00/01 anyway). That was starting to pose a problem with both my SCs not being Croatian and other useful immigrants eyeing up a place.

Unfortunately I am no longer at home so the game is temporarily postponed [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="frown[/IMG]. A shame as I was really enjoying it. I thought I might be able to get a good 4 seasons in during my time at home but I only managed 1 and a half.
IIRC, following on from those 2 victories we won the next 6 as well [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif" alt="eek[/IMG] and were definitely in with a promotion shout. The Russian and Belgian upfront were on fire, the gk was still awesome and my youth scouts had found a couple more promising masterpieces, an SW/D/M C who was first choice and a 17yo Georgian DRLC who was warming the bench.

Also the same side that spent 100k on the very average 17yo DC promptly spent 150k on a very average 18yo DMC. It was a total accident as well, a club offered 50k so I bumped it up to 100k to see what happened, they went away and I forgot to reset his value, this club came in for 100k so I cheekily asked for 150k and they offered it [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="big grin[/IMG]. They must see something in my players that I definitely don't....

I would love to continue this game but I can't at the moment, so I think I may start again in another country, Russia is the current favourite... [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="smile[/IMG]

Thought it ironic that something with the title 'The lowest of the low' should be at the bottom of page 19 and about to be bumped out of existance so i thought i would promote it back to the top.
