My first full season playing a LLM game (and any game for that matter) was interesting to say the least. Frank cold hearted soul sent me to the Finnish First Division as the manager of FC Viikingit. Thankfully Viikingit is better than a team fighting for regulation so I knew I should keep my job. I ended the up the season 7th with a record of 10-7-9 with a 0 goal differencial. For that alone my club and it's fans would have been happy but with a Finnish Cup in the trophy case they gave me a statue.

Now on to the next season.

Well I finally got to starting the 04-05 season. With all of my good young players signed long term and my tranfer budget still nil I had one boring of season.

When the Finnish Cup draw came about I was excited to say the least. Unfortunally I got stuck playing Jaro of the Finnish Premier League instead of the countless lower leagues. Going into the game I thought maybe I could put up a good showing at home and not get killed.

To my surprise at the half I was up 2-1. All was going well till Jaro knocked in a penalty in the 72nd minute to tied it up. As my club did all season last year it countered that goal with one of it's own seconds after the kickoff. Then like last year we let in a 90th minute goal. Sending us into Extra Time. Thankfully it didn't take long and Viikingit won two minutes in. Maybe I could be looking to get a new stadium and transfer budget next year to go along with my statue.

With the 04-05 now completed I am begining to think my being an American has something to do with my team's performance. I finished 10-5-11 and was 8th in the division and got destroyed 7-2 [h(2-2),a(5-0)] by Shaktar in the First round of the UEFA Cup, but still pulled the mircale of another Finnish Cup.

Eventhough I took a step back in the table this year my only personal goal this year was to gain some money so I could push toward promotion next year. As of 8.11.05 the club has a balance of 500k. Hopefully next year will be better.
