What will we do if 'The Other Game' is better for LLM than Football Manager?
I am looking forward to when i can have a play of the FM demo, and hope the demo will allow for Conf N/S play, but i am a little worried.
What will happen to us all if the game with the inherited name is better for LLM than FM? Granted I have never found an association football management sim anywhere near the depth, playability and pure addiction of even CM2 let alone the most recent incarnations.
Will we all ditch these forums for the Eidos ones? Will we play both games (i can only afford one, hence why i am awaiting both demos before making up my mind which one to go for)Or just stick to CM0304?
What would/are you going to do?.
P.S I am alarmed that this particular emergency was not covered in the UK governments recent what to do in emergencies booklett.

I don't tend to play demos.
If one crosses my path for either FM2005 or the Other One, I might give it a whirl, but the simple truth is that SI don't have much to do to get me to buy their game, whereas Eidos would have to produce a barmstormer for me to pay attention.

i intend to try both and make up my mind, but that being said, both games will be DIFFERENT, hence both merit play.
On paper SI hold the upper hand *the code* but Eidos as professionals at what they do, and i know first hand BGS (the producers) have worked very hard to make it the best game possible.
Of course these forums wont move, as there will be two seperate games to discuss. I certainly intend to post on both

Wimblemod...I tend to disagree a tad. Just because they're different doesn't mean they "merit play." They merit trying, that I agree, and I do plan to try the Eidos demo, but at the core, they're both football management sims. I really only need one in the end.
