Season 4 E.O.S

Right, I ended up getting through to the end of the season and the pre season tonight. The way I was going promotion was on the cards and I moved up to 5th at one point. It was not to last though.

The team were big, but half of them did not feature in my plans. So the squad was stretched. I loaned a midfielder from my previous club who was always excellent for me. The funny thing is, all the problem places I have at Boston, can be filled nicely by a few players from Scarborough.

Just like most managers I have tried raiding my old squad. I have a low budget though so was only able to afford their best striker for 26k.

We finished the season in 8th and I was happy, till I received the news that my excellent midfielder was out for 5 months with damaged ligaments.

Cups that I was involved in:

Knocked out of the Fa Trophy 6th round by Leigh 1-0

Season 5

Was finally able to release a chunk of players taking a chunk from my wage budget. Unfortunately my transfer budget is 1k so I will have to use loans, frees and the youth I had promoted. 3 were ok, the rest were released.

Ass man left me so another was brought in. I had 2 friendlies this year. Got beat by Hertha BSC 2-0 and Beat D1 Birmingham 1-0.

Just started the season and the team is really taking shape now. Still trying to make a few signings but it's proving difficult, includng a Welsh AM/C who looks quite exciting.

First game of the season was against former club Scarborough who we demolished 3-0. I was playing part manager and part scout during that game.

Story? Update!

I think I deserve it, Pete. Scarborough was such a tough managing job. I was practically struggling to survive every season. It was strange as I thought the side looked on paper the best in the division.

Season 5 E.O.S and Season 6

I was quite heartbroken about 20 minutes ago. I had made a strong start to the season after bringing in that former striker from Scarbroough. He broke a club record for goals, while my other striker broke a club record for assists.

2 games left and I was sitting in 5th. I beat Shrewsbury 3-0 to guarentee me a playoff place, but then my PC crashed. I had to replay the game and was beaten. My last game was against 2nd place Aldershot which I was losing 3-0 till this time CM crashed.

After being denied a place and CM crashing it didn't feel right to carry on. I went on holiday till mid june to find Boston did make the playoffs but was knocked out by Aldershot.

I am feeling much better now because for the first time this game I have seen another club come up that hasn't been up before. Bradford Park Avenue!

I was offered the job and took it. They have a big squad but only an Ass Man. The finances are ok and I am looking forward to the challenge.
