Season 3

Worst of the bunch.

Something rekindled my magic for CM. The fact I ran out of money playing poker, my fingers were getting itchy so I loaded up this game.

The magic came flowing back and I am still terrible at the game.

I thought I had finally found the right tactic for me, brought in a decent striker, keeper and left winger, along with my already stat filled side. I also had a lot of decent youths through including a defender who scored a hat trick of headers from corners in a game. Jumping 19 heading 20. :cool:

It was not to last though. Defeat after defeat saw us slip back into the relegation dogfight. I could not understand this as to me the team looked great.

I got to May and the 4-2 defeat against bottom secured my resignation letter. I had really fallen in love with this side, but I knew I could do no more for them. They ended up finishing 20th and relegated.

I got to the FA trophy second round and knocked out by Worcester City 4-0 and the FA cup 1st round, knocked out by Wrexham.

I am now waiting for a new conference job to jump at. So hopefully I will be updating this a bit more often.

Season 4

The Conference side is Boston. I waited till the start of the season, but all the teams that came up had a manager.

Wimbledon had actually offered me the job. They are struggling in Div 3, but I was on holiday and missed it. would have loved to have taken a fallen giant over.

Still, Boston is where I find myself. It's January and they were 16th. The Left winger is absolutely out of this world and they have shedloads of players. They were 6k over the wage budget, but I have brought that down to just £100 over. I have 5 players, maybe more leaving me at the summer, which will save another 4k.

The team is pretty good. I have only lost one match so far. I am missing two Centre backs, Centre midfielder and a striker. I have gone back to my old team to try and fix these problem positions.

Anyway, I am jibbering on. A proper update at the end of the season!
