So, a lot of you newbs may be wondering why I have not given this the "Brody is a poof" title. Well basically, when I got to my first 1000 posts, I didn't feel as though I should have been posting it, so just stuck to a normal 1000 post.
For those who have been here the last 2 or 3 years will also notice I do this with every 1k I make.
5k is a lot of posts and my 3rd birthday is coming up, so I have decided to give you a bit of a history on me lesson.
I started out in 2001, a bright eyed bushy tailed newb looking for a new home. I had always played in the lower leagues since CM 94, as managing an Arsenal or Manure didn't appeal to me. I clicked here and found my new home. A lot of names have gone from that time and I was a bit over my head. If you think you are flamed now, then all I can say is Evo.
My first mistake was posting about Ru$hden & Diamonds, as I reguarly managed these on CM 00-01. Wrong move!
I gave up on Rushden, and in December time, I got talking to my good friend, Ian on ICQ. I would say Ian nurtured me into the Zealot I am today. I could see the appeal of SWYCT and the realism of scouting before buying.
This resulted in me starting my most famous CM game ever, playing Zealotry LLM where I took Southend from the conference to Divison 1, as well as managing Northern Ireland (was sacked for the very first time) and West Ham.
Since then, a lot of people have come and go, newbs have been flamed in our old BBQ's, which were great I must add and I have been extremely active these last 3 years.
This may sound poofy, but LLM has taught me a lot of things. 3 of these things are..
1) How to type correctly
2) Spacing
3) How many people hate cherry coke
I have been in LLM challenges, online games, ICQ multi chats, IRC and one on one convos with most of you. How can I forget the creation of the hut and Random League Generator? From craighteman0, to Craig0 and now I am the Moderator of a forum that has so much history and a forum I have so much respect for.
This is not my leaving post. This is just a big thank you to all of you I have came in contact with, from these boards to instant messenger programs and have made this place such a great forum. I am having a truly enjoyable experience here and it looks like I am getting poofy and sentimental. :ooer:
