Thx for the comments guys, in season 6 now and just managed to force my team through the playoffs into the 1st division. If I can just shore up my defence now with the little talent there is I can build from there.
Budgets still tight but i've bought in 24 players over the seasons (10 swedes, and a mix of lower league brits, norwegians and a dane who was going for free) for only 45k, just about managing to avoid going bust during the off season. Finances are proving the most limiting factor, but the squad is gradually strengthening.
Got offered the croatian national job but turned it down, haven't had any club offers yet though . Looking for a new challenge really with a touch more in the kitty to build with, maybe a 100k or so.

Stuck playing a *generic* formation to try and avoid concending so many goals, seems to just about be working.

On a side note, I assume I can sign foreigners on frees from other swedish clubs...

Anyway, is proving as fun as dragging Southend up the leagues in the previous versions of the game i've played.
