well we haven't expanded the stadium yet, it is a bit tough on the wallet but im quite a miserly manager so we have 3 million in the bank, which the directors seem to think is enough for the expansion.

4.100 !!!
My kingdom for a 4.100 stadium!!!
Santurtzi's San Jorge stadium is a 2250 all-stand one (and my previous club, Europa de Nava, had a 1500 all-stand one) |

If it's any help, my brother's been playing an unpatched version of CM03/04, and with Northwich he only got a stadium expansion (and a piddly one of about 1500 seats) when he got to the Premiership. He's had another 2 or 3 since, all of no more than 2000 each time.
So I'd say it is possible with Tamworth, but only after a couple of years at the top, and if you generate some decent money.

Thanks, I guess
As my wagebudget has exploded now (3x allowed, D'OH), I think I need to get promoted within 2 years. If I don't my economy will collapse, and my players will eventually leave. Have gotten some real stars now, doing pretty well in friendlies so far. Last year's runner up Dag & Red (lost in PO), got beaten 6-0 in friendly. And Doncaster who lost in the PO final in D3, got beaten 3-1 in friendly. Looks good so far I'd say
Well, I'm off. Gotta see the dentist lol. Cya

As I have never really gotten out of the conference, what is the general opinion on stadium expansions?
When promoted from the conference say, is the stadium expanded do match the football league requirements? What about when you are in Divison 1 or the Premiership, has the stadium been expanded when you get to these leagues?

IIRC Div3 standards are 6000 capacity. They didn't say anything about my low capacity when I got promoted, but I think it was like that on older versions. A schoolmate won Conference with Forest Green, probably on CM0102, and he wasn't promoted because of the capacity.
I have gotten Stevenage to Div2 IIRC, didn't get any words about capacity then either.
And to my current game... Have gotten off to a surprisingly good start, laying in 3rd so far after 11 games. Have dropped many points as well, as some teams sit back, and I just can't poke it past the wall. Both Tamworth and Stevenage (got promoted as well) were relegation favourites, Stevenage are currently leading. Huge surprise to me, I killed them last season.
3 first-teamers are not satisfied witht their 30£ salary, and I can't afford their ridiculous demands. It may very well be promotion this year, or a slow death. We'll see.
As long as nobody forks out a million for my huge starlet, I should stay in the playoff race I hope.
Oh, and my only half-decent goalie just got sidelined for two months. Nobody worth buying are interested, so it's gonna be two rough months I'm afraid
I got a 14 year old coming starlet this summer, he's already better than my DL, will be tough to keep him out of the team, at least next season.

It's now changed to 4000 with at least 1000 seats and with various other safety/facilities rules as well.

Okay, didn't know that. Lamb Ground is still not within limits with its ca 500 seating capacity.
Have had a fantastic League Cup run, in the quarters now after beating Stoke, Barnsley, Bradford and Crystal Palace. Was hoping for away in each round, but only got it once, but it was very good cash indeed. Hoped for Man Utd away in the quarter, got United, but at home
Would have made a crapload at home. Would have gotten slaughtered any way, but away I could have made some nice money off of it
Still 3rd, but it's very close between 8-9 teams Xmas-time. My seasons are very slow as I play 2D-extended....
What are the words on Bosman signings btw?
Is it okay to do player search with expiring, or must it be through the scouts? Have done the latter, but not sure what the "official" word is on it. Wouldn't sign anybody without letting my scouts check them out at least once though.
