Found a huge 17yo talent. The scouts are jumping up and down about this guy, so I obviously try to sign him. I notice that Chester is interested as well, but that shouldn't be a problem as they are an average Conference side, and I am now in Div2. I offer him 650£ on squad rotation. But Chester get him. What did they offer? 450£ and decent youngster. How did they brainwash this kid?
"Hmm, I don't have a contract right now, and two teams are after me. One is in Conference with limited resources and few chances for promotion.
The other team is in Division Two with a healthy economy and promising players. They Div2 team offers a much higher salary, and promises a good deal of time on the pitch. Ah nuts, I'll go for the cruddy team in the Conference, and struggle in the reserves for a while."
This ticks me off, no way Chester got better reputation than me now.
