Do you deliberately throw cup games to exit the competition? I'll play the stiffs and kids in crap cups (which is all of them except for the FA Cup).

IRL for me, silverware is silverware and I'll take all we can get.

The league cup is not crap, i think. The FA cup is grrrreat. The rest do suck ass in deed. And silverware does make one proud :cool:

I look upon Cups as a kind of necessary evil in real life. I think too much emphasis is placed by Teams who can't afford to on them. If you look at ManUre, the Arse, or The Auld Firm, how often do they put out a strong Team? Seldom in the early rounds.

Never thrown a game in my life, and I never will. I play my kids, has-beens and never-will-bes, but I play to win.

I always concentrate on League Position :cool:

I always get knocked out in the first round or so it seems, no matter what team I play.

Except in the latest season (2008)--in which I made it to the quarterfinals of some cup was duly dumped from the competition and relegated on the last day of the season from the scottish first division on goal difference.

Cups suck ass.

In the game, I find it* a distraction. In real life, I love it. It's the only cup Norwich have ever won :cool:
