It's only 16 hours by plane.

Many years ago when I backpacked through Europe I went to Austria, mainly Salzburg and Vienna. Beautiful cities. Vienna has some of the best architecture in Europe.

Have discovered it doesn't matter what hotel you make a reservation at if, by the time your coach arrives in the town 5 hours late at 4:30am, the reception for that hotel is closed and, in the words of a friendly receptionist at another hotel:
"There is a telephone conference in town, the nearest hotel with an available bed is 50 minutes away."

I decided that since the only words I could think of were not ones he would be grateful for hearing, I would be better walking away.

And saying that the city of Norwich is better than the football team is his opinion, but Norwich is such a fine city that the bar is still set high enough for the club to be better than our friends down the A140 as well
