Default Turkey? You're joking...

Was recently sent to Turkey by Frank, for my first time LLMing. Nazilli Belediyespor, a team I couldn't pronounce the name of, let alone manage. They weren't too bad for money and had a stadium capacity of 8000, so I thought I'd take the job and see how I got on. Upon arrival, I noticed the lack of strikers. Two, in total. So I sent the scouts out and they came back with one average striker who had a rather abusive surname. He was free, so I snapped him up. Pre-season didn't go too badly, two losses followed by a win and a draw. The season started off much in the same way, two wins and two losses, left us mid-table. The board were only expecting me to rebuild the squad so I carried on as I was. A run of five draws saw us near the bottom of the table, so we went back to the drawing board. The next few games saw us win one, lose one, win one, lose one, etc, which put us back into the running. We're now coming off the back of two wins, in which the strikers played well, and are climbing fast up the league.

Only thing is, Colchester have just offered me a job. They're currently 19th in Div2, okay finances, a 6200 capacity stadium and a large squad. So, I turn to you. Should I jump ship, or carry on where I am?

Do you feel like you've earned this job? Answer this, and you'll have found the answer to your question.

Kostis has made a valid point as per usual. If you feel You have done enough to Manage Colchester, then go for it. Just remember though that the game does tend to throw a lot of jobs at you.

For example, it wouldn't be realistic to be Colchester manager for 2 weeks then leave for Arsenal.

I understand what you mean. I was leaning more to the 'stick with them' side anyway, but I thought I'd get the opinions from some people in the know .

I'll stay with the team for now and see what the rest of the season brings us, and keep you updated.

Cheers for the help .

BTW, what is your nationality? Far more believable that Colchester would offer the job to a relatively unknown Brit than a relatively unknown Turk.

Nah, stay put. Whatever happened to a good old bit of loyalty - see where you can take your Turkish club first

I've not got around to giving Turkey a go yet.
Not keen on getting sacked because the chairman/board lost a few quid on the races and were having a hissy fit.
