After my last game getting corrputed it was time once again to ask the almighty Frank. He decided to send me to Barnet. Thankfully unlike the wasteland that is Viikingit, Barnet is a talented side, too talented infact for Conference or Division 3 for that matter.

Anyway the 03/04 season went smoothly. We dominated the tabled up until the last few games when injury and the recent sale of some of my better players hurt my chances from winning the Conference outright. Fortunatly for me everyone was ready by the time playoffs rolled around and we got promoted.

The off-season was bittersweat. Right after I got the wage budget down with a few key cheap signings to replace the players I lost and resigning the backups I get 9 players new youth players sending by salary 4k above the budget. Now I was already in the red to begin with so this really doesn't help.

Well I'll be back later...must...play...cm 03/04...

Well if I the poof elite didn't like the upstart American getting his club promotioned in his first year they surely aren't going to like me now. With a core of the team still from the Conference side from the begining I finished 7th with a record of 23-11-12, 80 points. In the FA Cup and League Cup I was knocked out in 3rd round 0-1 by Newcastle and Hull City respectively. In the Vans Cup I got rolled over by Rushlen 2-4.

As always my team pick up their game for the playoffs taking the promotition spot from Scunthorpe 2-1. On to getting my butt beat down in Division 2.

And Scunthorpe was beaten by an American lead team with an 18 year old striker that started the season with around a value of 18k.

Well it's been 3 monthes into the 05/06 season and I have to say I am pleased with my team. Here's how we did:

Augest
Record: 2-0-2; 14th
A Brentford 1-0
A Oldham 0-2
H Barnsley 1-2
H Doncaster 3-0
League Cup
1st Round: H West Ham 1-2
Tranfers
24 year old S(C) from Hednesford (Bosman)
September
Record: 4-1-3 (2-1-1); 11th
A Swindon 0-1
H Walsall 0-0
A Dag & Red 2-0
H Derby 1-0
October
Record: 7-1-6 (3-0-3) 10th
A Hull 2-4
A Grimsby 3-1
H Notts Co 0-2
H Tranmere 3-1
A Cambridge 2-3
H Oxford 2-1
Vans Trophy S
1st Round: H Kidderminster 4-0
Tranfers
19 year old M(R/C) from Halesowen Town

And the that 18 year old 18k striker of last year is now a 19 year old 140k striker. To think the Ass Man when I got there didn't want me to have him on the first team. No wonder his firing was the first thing I did as the head of Barnet.

Fool Inc., take a look at all the other updates, and take a look at your own. There's something you've included (the bulk of your last post) which none of the others have.

No that's a part of every topic because of the lack of an edit button.
