Default carear asperations?

i think getting a small LLM club to the premierhip, is a better achievement than winning the premiership with a huge club, but if i got offered a better job, i would probaly take it,

My usual ambition is to take clubs from minor leagues into the CL (while playing in Wales, Ireland, Finland etc.), although by the time I get there I get a bit bored after a few seasons and start back down at the bottom.

The best part for me is the first few seasons at the club, hopefully shipping out all the deadwood and bringing in your own players, and making your team competitive.

In short, my aspirations are turning crap clubs into bigger clubs, I'm never one to 'jump ship' to bigger clubs who are already at the top.

It depends on what i feel like. If i like the club and the challenge it's offering me, i'm staying until we reach the top however long that may take. If i feel like jumping, i jump. Remember it is just a game, you're supposed to have fun playing it.

I personally like to take a club as far as I feel they can realistically go, then move on. (I've never taken a Conference club to the Premiership, getting there with Exeter City is my personal best to date)
Preferably like to move on to a decent sized club in a league lower than it should be (if I deserve the chance to manage them, of course).
I remember one save with CM 01/02 where I got Sunderland relegated out of the top flight in a fashion that even Yorkshire-Born Irish McBignose would have been proud of. I resigned in shame.
I had plenty of job offers, but felt that I'd not earned the right to take on a decent club, so off I trotted to Conference new boys St. Albans.
It was a truly memorable save, even though I never got them promoted, but it sticks in the memory so much so that a fortnight ago I found out that one of my St. Albans players was at Belper Town IRL, so went along to watcch their visit to Willenhall Town.
He was crap, and Willenhall ran out 2-0 winners.
I like Willenhall though. \o/

My personal objectives in just about any game are to win the World Cup (preferably with Poofland) and to win the EPL/UCL with Norwich. So far in 9 or so years of trying I have exactly one UCL win to my name. I managed to qualify for that with a second place finish in the EPL, so I am in the select band of mangers who have won the European cup without ever winning my domestic league

I think my lack of success is down to two things. I tend not to take the easiest path to career advancement - I become attached to my club and don't jump ship to bigger teams very often. Secondly I'm just a bit crap

My objective is always promotion. Nothing else matters until my Team are promoted to the top division, then I widen my scope and attempt other niceties like Cups (They suck ass, you know...did anyone ever mention it?)

Well, if you jump to Liverpool ( ), you're asking for trouble.

I like to manage small clubs, and bring them up the leagues. In the process I get very attached to the club, so there's no chance I'm gonna jump ship. I have never played really long though, think 5 seasons is the longest, but got a good game going now.

The only time I've jumped ship was when I moved to Sogndal in Norway. But then it was because I got bored of whatever club I was at, resigned and took a vacation. After 6 months I checked available jobs, and Sogndal was available. That's the only time I've managed outside England I think.

The first season is the best IMO, as you struggle the most to get a competetive team together, and you often have the least money then. With 100k plus in the transfer kit, things are a lot easier.

Wouldn't manage Liverpool ( ) if they put a gun to my head!

I just try to win as many games as possible.

Once i'm bored with a club, or feel I've taken it as far as I can, I'll look for another club to manage. International management is a nice bonus, if I get it.

I like to try and build a small club up to the best they can be. This doesn't mean taking Sutton to The Premiership or anything. If I feel that League Two is the best they can do, then I move on.

I prefer to linger around the LL's than move onto big clubs though.
