Good Lord above! Heaven forbid you have to allocate squad numbers and have no.52 up front.

In CM1 I liked to arrange my squad thus:

10 116 7 8 92 3 4 5 1

Made bugger all difference though.

Let's say that my squad numbers were really a mess in CM03/04, and explaining how they were in the field would actually be too close to tactic naming.

As a hint, let's say LB was #11, DMC was #4 and FLC was #8...

oops :o

On the last post, where it reads CM03/04 it should read CM93/94.

Actually, Forgotten, however you make it, it's not correct. You'd have to put in a scheme for almost every country, because due to different culture and customs, not everywhere the same "default" numbers are given. In huge parts of the world, the "11" is used for the second striker, whereas the "10" marks the playmaker.

The system that SI has put in place is easy to use for a reason too - that way the midfielders are grouped together, as are the forwards and the defenders.

yeah but...

like i said ain't no game breaker, just like my number 9 as a SC - i know i can change it on the tactics screen, but its messes up the player selection screen. suppose i'll have to get used to it

Famous UEFA refs keep officiating my Havent and Waterloovile friendlies against Welsh and Scottish clubs. Granted these are international friendlies, but do they warrent the bleached haired Swiss SmartCar driving England goal disallowing Roma fan targetted idiot?

A thing that has buggered me for years, but I didn't know the actual figures until now:

There is TV money in Spanish 2nd Division and Second Division B.

As for the amounts I only know last year's and this one second Division B ones:

36k € for the season for all the clubs. (from TVE)
Clubs residing in Autonomies can arrange deals with local TVs, as in Catalonia. Usually this deal reports way more than the TVE deal:

For Catalan clubs in 2nd Division B:
50k € for the season plus 4k€ for each televised home match. (from TVC).

There are other regional deals in Andalusia, Valencia, Galicia and the Basque Country, but I don't know the amounts they involve (likely to be about the same as TVC ones, but I don't know for sure).

I'll try and get the actual figures for TV money on 2nd Division (It also involves TVE deals and Regional TV deals).
