Chemnitz Season 2002/2003

After an average performance last season, i decided that my aim would be to build from a middle table team to a top 7 team.

Once again at the winter break i found myself sitting 11th and a board who were starting to dislike me, a few players lost confindence in me but i still keep my head high and didn't quit over the winter break.

With my job listed as 'insecure' i knew that the team would have to improve. And so they did, we went on a 10 game unbeaten run and only managed to lose once in the last 14 games  this pushed us into 6th postion and made my job safe

However it wasn't all roses, and a look at my financail state saw the club creep into 1.8million in debt. Two players were sold in pre season at 975k combined and an extra 400k in season tickets made the overall debt stand at only 350k

A even harder season ahead this time could be my death at Chemnitz

Chemnitz Season 2003/2004

After losing my defensive duo for a combined fee of 975k i had major defensive problems, the young ins could only be played and with a central partnership consisting of a 17yr old and a 18yr old i knew this season was going to be tough.

10 games into the season and third from bottom saw the board once again getting disappointed with me and my job once again been 'insecure' However after a 9 game winning streak (Thanks to a loan defender) Chemnitz were 4th in the league  the middle winter break came and i was sitting pretty at 5th, this wasn't to last to long and some terrible results saw me fall to 8th, only to have a decent run again and finish 5th in the league.

The board and the fans love me, but Chemnitz's accountant didn't feel the same and only with a cash injection (£1.3million) from the board i was saved and we were in the green again.

Next season objective is to try and push for promotion, which is going to be a nearly impossible task seeing as a club in my league has just been broughtout and has 6million to spend

Oh and my 'wunderkind' has the star man of the season and now club caption, scoring 24goals in 32games ensured i didn't get the bullet.

Keep you updated

Yeah, that's a real pain in the scrotes. Nothing worse than getting money to spend.

Wait untill they get banned for several months.
I had it once while managing a J2-league team(Japan). My only striker worthy of the name, assualted the referee and got banned for, I think it was 2months...

It still s***s though

90 days equates to around 3 months  If only I'd known that sooner, my life could have been so different.

Chemnitz Season 2004/2005

Hope of building on to promotion took a big blow when i lost my DMC and star midfield (the guy who got 22goals in the first season) for a combined fee of 2.2million. However this was more of a mixed blessing and this money allowed me to make my team strong in places that failed last season.

The rest is history, with 2.2million to spend i made some decent signings and managed to gain promotion to the second division by securing first place. My 'wunderkind' has drawn some attention, one notiable club is Leeds who made a 1.1million bid at the end of the season which has turned down straight away as he is now the clubs top goalscorer at 55 goals

Keep you updated, Division two here i come!
