I don't. Which means there is rarely anything to read in this forum.
At least in the old days, a quiet forum would mean that we'd have fun as all kinds of interesting 'characters' would come in and be burned.
Perhaps we get such people still, but I really can't be bothered trawling through the updates to find them.
This forum has lost its character for me. It is only marginally better than Eidos:LLm atm,
imo.
Perhaps it will improve after FM is released.

I love this

I've seen it every year before every release since before this Board was updated and reintroduced in 2000.
It
always picks up, Graham. Like The Indispensible One said it's the hiatus between the overplaying of the old game and the introduction of the new one (he
did say that, only not as eloquently as I did

)

One bigger problem IMHO is that a number of regulars have gone on a crusade to Eidos LLM, so the number of posts by them is also diminished.

I'm guilty of this, I'm nearly up to 800 posts in Eidos LLM since February.
It's like this, though. I don't give a Tinker's TÂ*oss for Eidos or their version of CM (which isn't to say I wish them ill-will), but I
do care passionately about the Spirit and Ethics of LLM.
I'm proud to say I was there at its inception (and could lay claim to copious LLMisms like Zealot, and SWYCT, and "If you have to ask if it's cheating..." and many more, but I'm too modest) and to see it being slighted by guys who claim to play the game and Guidelines being ignored and disrespected is too much for me.
I'm glad to see that it's getting on track as a "proper" LLM Forum now, I have every faith in Daniel, James and Al to ensure that it isn't diluted
too much.
This place will buzz again. As sure as God made Little Green Apples, it'll
buzz
Trust me.
