I would have thought you'd have spotted that one LFC.

And UWIC (University of Wales Institute Cardiff) have been playable as a normal team in the Welsh Premiership in various previous CM versions and i think they occasionally get promoted back up in 03/04.

The really interesting scenario would be if a team like Metropolitan Police get promoted from step 4 to step 3 and thus potentially become playable. Whilst anyone can be offered a sports scholarship at Uni, and teams like Vauxhall Motors or Airbus UK are no longer 'company teams' as far as i know, all Metropolitan Police players have to be coppers working inside the M25.

I doubt that this wil be the case in FM, Queens University Belfast are manageable in CM 03/04 and they have no 'player restrictions'. There ex-Bristol City striker is/was a player coach IIRC as well.

I thought Bedworth were in the Dr Martens or Unibond Premier Division now? Looks like there not. Would have been great to manage them at some stage.

Promotion to the Conference worked well in 01/02, hopefully it will be similar to that.

I'm not holding out much hope for new teams each season. Currently very few sides are new to the conference in cm03/04.

Kettering Town
Nuneaton Borough
Southport
AFC Wimbledon
Dover Athletic
Canvey Island
Halesowen Town
Enfield ?

I can't think of anymore. Usually (and ANNOYINGLY) the same three that were relegated just get back in.

Oh and Bradford PA

Some more teams i can remember having played at least in conference in about a decade:

Slough
Kingstonian
Halesowen
Merthyr Tydfil
Rugby Utd.
Hednesford Town
Bath City
Leek Town

Not Rugby United. They've never been in the Conference.

VS Rugby had, but I'm sure that was more than a decade ago.
