As well as missing letters and capitals, no one has pointed out the missing apostrophe. Additionally, can anyone tell me what the first sentence means?

Think my dodgy keyboard observation covered that, Mkus
Went out in the playoffs at the first attempt, after losing 0-2 in the first game away to Darlington, and having a player sent off. That left us witha mountain to climb, to use a dorky phrase. Of course, we got a player sent off (In the 1st minute! :eek in the second leg too. We went on to win that game 1-0, but that obviously didn't do us any good. I don't think I need t mention the poor refereeeing again, do I?
In pre-season now, and the consistent DM C I mentioned, who was going to be my captain this season, has just announced his shock retirement from football.
We clinched the league with two games to go, beating Leyton Orient for first place. We were terribly inconsistent up until christmas though, winning one game, the losing the next, ad infinitum, and throw in a couple of draws.
Shaped up after that though, and had a run of 10 unbeaten games round january/february, which got us to the top in the 32nd game of the season, and we stayed there until the last.
In the pre-season I broke the club record, signing an out-of-favour 24 yr old MC from Newcastle, hoping that he'd be the creative player in midfield we by that time didn't have, since the DM C mentioned earlier resigned. He started out ok, getting mostly 7's, but he was suspiciously low in the condition department all the time. asked my physio what wa wrong with him, and naturally, he was carrying a strained thigh muscle, or something similar, can't recall right now. He was out for surgery for two months, which was probably (hopefully?)the main reason for our inconsistency at that time.
A couple of loan signings did their part as well, the only real low-point of the season was that our big man goal-scorer up front, signed from Blackppol when we were in the conference, broke his ankle in the run-in of the season, and is currently out for 5 months.
Four Bosman signings (Two strikers, a central defender and a goalkeeper) will hopefully help us in division 2, and the offloading of an arrogant D R/C, who's been late for training on a couple of occasions and asked for transfers everytime I've fined him for him, will be on his way to Wimbledon in the summer on a Bosman. Good riddance...
I really hope the goalkeeper coming in will be better (or mroe consistent, anyway) than the two who's shared the keeping duties this season. He's only reccommended as fairly good, but ti's the best we could find, without paying too much.
In pre-season now, for the 04-05 season, and was shocked to see that we now have £2.9 million(!) to spend on new players.
Of course, the players I really want to sign wants way too much money. Looks like we'll have to rely mainly on the squad we already have, and maybe strenghthen it with a couple of loan signings...
If he was from Stockholm, he was probably a poof. Stockholm is the San Francisco of Sweden, if you know what I mean.
Er, that's what I've been told anyway
Or, if he indeed was from the better parts of Sweden (Gothenburg and thereabouts), it wasn't me. Unless you were in London around Dec '99? That's the last time I was there, but I don't remember anyone introducing themselves as seamus from Jockland though

Seamus from jockland. I'm offended! As is Ian I'm sure.
I'm pure Yankee my friend. I met a Henrik in NYC through a friend from Malmo who was living in NY at the time.
