Damn, now I am gutted

Have gotten promoted to Div1, now the struggle will begin. Especially since my star right winger's contract is running out at the end of the coming season, and there seems to be no way to get him to sign. He also has a min clause of 1M, which is his value atm. Have given him maximum of what I can, all positive clauses, all bonuses. I've maxed out all the options. If he doesn't sign my last offer, I will try to get the fees of the clauses down. If that fails, I have no other option than to transfer list the guy. Bet nobody will be interested, and he leaves for nothing next summer.

Better get my scouts out of rehab, they had a nasty summer, and not really recovered yet

Yeah I loved the fact that were technically rubbish compared to 98% of League teams in Europe yet blag a Champo League spot! Nah I;m not from Caersws but its my favourite CM03/04 game!

I'm playing as Cambuur, made it into the top-flight to the bizarre Dutch promotion-playoff system, and bosmaned a quality keeper to aid in my attempts to stay up. Things looked good, we're safe mid-table at the break, then the day after my last match before the winter break, I get the news my signee keeper got the infamous torn groin...this is a month after one of my strikers broke his leg... and to top it off, my AMC went to the paper and complained about his contract a week later. Of course, when I tried to see what his wage demands were, I got my 'favorite' of messages..."player x does not think Cambuur has the resources to meet his demands."

Looks like I'll be having a relegation battle after all...
