Hi
In know the basic rules of people who play the game in this froum but I wanted to know somethings.

I know everyone here wants to play the game as it arrived in the box. (I expect using official patches is ok) But since SI have provided an editor... I was wondering what is permissible to edit?

Example. Can I install (within the LLM spirit) facepacks, logos and other cosmetics to the game (from thrid party)?

What else is allowed?
SI obviously want the editor to be used... but I want to know where the line is?

No line is drawn. Editors are not to be used, whether SI or a 3rd party provides them is of little consequence.

As for the "cosmetics", obviously you can.

Ok I guess I knew the answer but thought would ask since SI have provided it ...

I was more interested in the cosmetics... since that could be construed as altering the original game.

By the by... I don't intend to use the editor ... and I will start of unemployed so at this stage don'y have any idea who i will play... also game not available in OZ until 15th... bugger!

There most certainly is a line which must not be crossed. No use of editors in any way, shape or form. (only relaxed once for a certain persons colour blnidness).

Only Official Patches may be installed.

Any facepacks, logos, sounds etc which do not affect the gameplay are accepted but don't come moaning here if your game crashes or slows down.

Use of cosmetics on girlies only.

Church I may not even load facepacks because not sure if will slow down my computer or not... and from what people have said about the game being slow... I don't need anything else to slow it down.

As for cosmetics.. I don't use them myself ... although most would suggest I need cosmetic surgery to look remotely human.

In my opinion facepacks, logos etc could be considered as editing... just wanted to know what others thought.

Nothing wrong with altering how the game looks as this will not change how the game plays.

Earliest example I know about is Taip's excellent commentary file on CM01/02 was it?

Edit any data those and Frank's new sniper squad will hunt you down.

Nobby. i never used those commentary files. I am not sure they add anything to the game... but since never used them can't really judge.

So far, on the demo I am really bad... but hope when the full game arrives that I will be inspired to take a team like Cefn Druids (not far from my old home) to glory.
