I will most surely give it a go, but there won't that much managerless teams at the start of the game, and I don't want to waste my timeon waiting for new teams to sack their manager, not do I want to start every game at the same team(s).

I also have a question: What if I would only select the EPL, and start unemployed? Would I get an appointment, because that would be very unrealistic(except for the Tottenham-Christian Goss story...)

I wouldn't start unemployed, since I know I'll get offered jobs I don't really fancy. I feel I have to be attached to a club to enjoy my game, and if it's some random team offering me a job I wouldn't enjoy it as much. Probably similar to how I only take jobs I apply for, never ones I'm offered.

I'll probably start as Sutton United.

Hi Robbo,

I'm with you. I need to feel some connection with my club, however tenuous. I've managed several tiny sides from various towns I visited on holiday abroad, as well as exhausting all the possibilities of local connections for the UK leagues.

Just having a solid picture of this place I'm supposed to be managing in, the tastes, the smells, the atmosphere, truly adds to the enjoyment of the game for me.

Random job allocation would take that away.

I'm not the same. I took Doncaster Rovers up three divisions in the zealot game despite the fact I don't like them. I don't take much of a fancy to Tottenham Hotspur either, but I'm doing well with them.

So, unemployed for me, though I will draw the line at Port Vale. I'd rather cut my balls off than manage them.

I strated unemployed and took over Hereford in the demo after the first league game. In my first game I was a complete disater at Liverpool manager!! If I start unemployed and get a job in the Conference National in the full FM can I post my exploits here?
