You could do it LFCfan's way (so I'm told) and start somewhere like the Dripping Pan, and soon become unemployed

I will most probably start my career saves unemployed.

However, my first go at the game will surely see me taking either some Conference N/S team or some Basque only team.

The reason I don't want to start unemployed is this.

When the game starts there'll probably be a couple of teams without managers. First game, Team A will offer the job. Second game, Team B may offer. Game 3...and 4...same Teams, same offers.

...or wait an undefined amount of time 'til someone's sacked.

I'll pick my own...or frank II will.

I'm going to let Frank II choose my team. I want to get into a game ASAP - I don't have enough free time as it is, and to "waste" it waiting for a job to come up strikes me as a little OTT. I figure that I might not be first choice for Bognor's manager IRL, but that I do have *some real management skills, (from other areas of life), and thus, have a chance at getting such a job... maybe.

But basically, I'm part of the MTV generation... I WANT IT, and I WANT IT NOW... so it'll be straight to a team for me.

Hope I wont be thrown out of here for this...

Frank Part Deux will select my team first off, although I may give the "Start unemployed" feature a go in my second game.

I would be interested what level of clubs would come in to employ me. Afterall, will it be Conference S/N for an English manager or would you find Conference or even league 1 or 2 clubs appointing us. Afterall many former pros may go straight into the league as their first appointments, others such as the Burton Manager (with the uber famous former manager father) have gone in at a low level to learn their trade.
Incidentally and a little off topic, will they change the management age beginning at 35? what with York City having a manager in his twenties and Fulham having a manager under under 35.
Is it unbelievable for a Conference N/S team to give a 20 odd year old a shot at being boss.

For those considering starting unemployed, or curious about how such a beast works then surely this can be tried on the demo that comes out this week.

I am assuming that this feature will not be 'locked' for the demo, so it may be good to see just how it will work out in the full game.

I think I'll pass on the unemployed feature. Like what Wortley said, I think its a waste of my time waiting around for a job to come up. Straight into it with the best challenge I or Frank can come up with.

Then again, I spend 90% of my CM playing time uemployed, so I dont think it matters either way

I think i'll wait for people's comments on it before trying it out, as i usually have no lack of imagination when selecting my victims.
